First Baptist Church Greenville is a faith community that sees teenagers as vital contributors to the community. We call our youth ministry the “Youth Family” because we strive to create a safe space for students to be who they are while discovering and forming new pieces of their identities. Just like a family, we see the good and the not so good within each other but we approach life and live life together. We try our best to follow Jesus, to reach out to others, to recognize our Baptist heritage and to learn what all of these things mean in the world today. Our Youth Family is made up of students from grades 6 through 12, adult volunteers, college volunteers and staff. If you are looking for a place to belong, come give the Youth Family at First Baptist Church Greenville a shot!

Our youth participate in relational mission opportunities around the world, in our neighborhood and throughout Greenville County. Our youth gather weekly for Bible study, Sunday School and worship. Our youth love discipleship, fellowship and social activities like lock-ins, Unidiversity Youth Camp, retreats, Youth Choir trips and games.

Most of our regular activities take place on the Terrace Level (lower level) of the AYMC.
